We couldn’t have found a more magical and interesting venue for the upcoming course in Transformational Meditation in Salt Lake City. Oh yes! The wonderful people from Crone’s Hollow are opening the doors for us to make this two-day workshop an absolute blast! Many link meditation to Asian traditions, but did you know that many in the pagan community, that Crone’s Hollow serves, use meditation as well? And that elements from transformational meditation, like visualization and setting and holding an intention are common in Witchcraft, Paganism and Magic?
Those that know me well, know I bridge the latest in modern science with ancient spiritual practices to give you a broader understanding of and use for meditation as a tool for personal transformation and manifestation. The 20th and 21st of April you can experience first hand what it is like to be in full control over yourself and your life, how you can heal yourself, manifest your dreams, grow your intuition and use intention to help yourself and others. There have been a number of well-known scientists over the years who have concluded that everything is energy. This also applies to our body. Actually, the physical part of our body is the result of an expression of energy. We can change our body by changing our energy. But how do you change your energy? By changing your feelings and emotions and by being aware of which feelings you want to hold on to. One method to accomplish this is Transformative Meditation. A meditation form that focuses on change on different levels through meditation techniques.
We have had some technical issues the last months recording Seb’s sessions in Second Life, but now we are back. This is a recording of the guided meditation Seb did the 6th of December after talking about how our conformistic filter shapes our reality. It is a live voice lead guided meditation. Since it was recorded live Seb’s voice might sound a little dull due to the microphone he had to use.
Getting to know yourself through Transformational Meditation means that you become more aware of your unconscious or, in other words, when you do things unconsciously. You catch this and can override the unconscious by making a conscious decision instead. In other words, YOU will be in the driver’s seat and not your surroundings.
This is one of the key principles that underlie persistent healing. Treating symptoms does not remove the cause that caused the symptoms to appear. Sometimes one has to go deeper to get to the core and work with, anxiety, emotional pain and more to achieve lasting change. Transformational Meditation can be an aid to go deeper and work with yourself in a different way.
Each time you say, “I am ….” you create and strengthen your identity. Have you experienced a trauma that caused you to become more anxious and are you telling yourself and others that you are an anxious person, then this becomes your anxious personality and your identity. And every time you tell yourself you are an anxious person, you reinforce your identity
You know deep inside you that you do not want to be an anxious person and you want to get rid of the unpleasant emotions and experiences that come with it. This means that you must change one or more personality traits and thus your identity and this is scary in itself. Because what’s happening to you when you’re not the person everyone around you identifies you with? Transformational Meditation is a tool that is highly effective in creating such changes in a liberating manner.
Without water, there is no life on earth. Water is essential, not just for human life but all life. Water is needed for drinking, cleaning, washing, and making crops grow. There is no substitute for this precious resource, and yet we waste it, we pollute it, and we even commodify it! Let’s start anew, and begin by thanking for and sending our best intentions to the gift that is water.
