Getting to know yourself through Transformational Meditation means that you become more aware of your unconscious or, in other words, when you do things unconsciously. You catch this and can override the unconscious by making a conscious decision instead. In other words, YOU will be in the driver’s seat and not your surroundings.

Things do not always go as we want. And then it’s easy to think that if things outside of us were different, it would be better. But it’s not always easy to change our surroundings. And often it creates more resistance than solving the challenges we face. Then we can remember that when we change the way we look at things, then the things we look at will change. We can always change our thoughts.

Example: At the moment, I experience people being envious. This is expressed in the fact that somebody does not want me well and creates gossip about me behind my back. Twenty years ago I had responded with anger on this and tried to do something about it. Now I look at it as a sign that I’m on the right track. It just happens that not everybody is able to be happy for other peoples successes. Had I reacted with anger I would have hurt myself more than the people who are envious. Also, there is something called “practice what you preach” of course. 😉

I think many who have meditated for some time recognize themselves in Rudolf Steiner’s description. It is liberating to know that you are more than a human being. At least more than a human being as defined in the dictionary. The knowing this gives expels fear, insecurity and many other emotions that can slow you down in finding your path in life. You know your truth. You know it’s the way you stand in life that determines where your path is going.

Don’t manipulate the symptoms but go to the core.

Real transformation occurs not simply by manipulating the symptoms, but by going to the core and addressing the fear, pain, and beliefs that are causing the symptoms.

This is one of the key principles that underlie persistent healing. Treating symptoms does not remove the cause that caused the symptoms to appear. Sometimes one has to go deeper to get to the core and work with, anxiety, emotional pain and more to achieve lasting change. Transformational Meditation can be an aid to go deeper and work with yourself in a different way.

Many people are afraid to heal because their entire identity is centred around the trauma they’ve experienced. To not know who you are outside of trauma can be terrifying.

Each time you say, “I am ….” you create and strengthen your identity. Have you experienced a trauma that caused you to become more anxious and are you telling yourself and others that you are an anxious person, then this becomes your anxious personality and your identity. And every time you tell yourself you are an anxious person, you reinforce your identity

You know deep inside you that you do not want to be an anxious person and you want to get rid of the unpleasant emotions and experiences that come with it. This means that you must change one or more personality traits and thus your identity and this is scary in itself. Because what’s happening to you when you’re not the person everyone around you identifies you with? Transformational Meditation is a tool that is highly effective in creating such changes in a liberating manner.

After meditating for some years, I gained an understanding of how easily we are manipulated by others and how incredibly dangerous this could be. That many people have this we versus them mentality is a classic example of how false beliefs are planted into our consciousness and build the foundations for some of the world’s biggest wars. Especially when doing group meditations one notices quickly that people are at their best when they work together towards a common goal. Power of 8 groups are a good example that show that people who work together, regardless of background, are able to create miracles. We reinforce each other when we have a common intention. In our course, you will learn to reach this point of inner wisdom. The point that gives that incredible sense of freedom.

Gratitude

Gratitude turns what we have into enough.

Gratitude has a dual effect. On one side you will be able to attract more you can be grateful for and on the other hand, it will make you feel that what you already have is enough. In the course, we are diving deeper into using meditation as a manifestation technique. You will also learn that a feeling of gratitude is the universal key to manifestation.

A big part of my life I stood up every Monday morning reluctant to go to school and reluctant to go to work. Again a week full of challenges and too many chores. As a thank you, I always received a good portion of challenges from the universe and plenty of things to do.

It was Dr Wayne Dyer who made me try something else. Now I get up every morning and the first thing I do is say thank you for a new day with many new opportunities and I open up for the positive a day can give me. I have to be honest, this is not always easy. But one thing I know now for sure. What you say thanks for in the morning comes to you during the day.
