Energy and its effect on the body

Energy and its effect on the body

There are 7 main chakras in the body that are constantly receiving and emitting energetic information at all times. It connects you to others, the Earth, and everything else in creation. This is possible because we can access our consciousness on multiple dimensions. These different dimensions are able to coexist at the same time because each vibrates at a different frequency. Different levels of awareness become evident as our awareness expands. If you have ever had an emotional reaction that was met with an equal physical reaction you may begin to understand how this is possible. Have you ever felt sick to your stomach with worry? Has a hectic week left your mind feeling foggy?  Depending on how you are processing events in your life, you may have energy leaving/coming into your body either in the form of harmony, or in the form of distress.  The two ends of this spectrum can have vastly different effects on the physical body in our third dimensional world as we know it over time.  Depending on the specific issue(s) at hand, disease can manifest in often particular and precise areas of the body. Contrary to what you may have learned in textbooks, we are not doomed to a specific “encryption” that our DNA is forever condemned to follow and await its demonstration.  Cutting edge research is proving that we ourselves have the key to unlocking our DNA’s programming, and it can be as simple as developing a consciousness of your thoughts. This area of study is known as epigenetics. You do not have to be a mystical shaman in order to begin healing yourself at the molecular level, and anyone who has a desire to better them or those around them, whether it be physically or mentally, will benefit from the information offered in our courses.

The body is endlessly responding to energetic information it is gathering from many different avenues at all points in time.  We can be consciously aware of these happenings, or we may be interpreting reality or responding to it in ways we are unaware of before more closely analyzing our subconscious mechanisms or patterns.  It is not uncommon for events in the past to still influence us if those energies have been stored unsuitably within a chakra. The unhealthy manifestation of blocked energy can cause an insufficiency within a single or multiple chakra system.  Consider the diagram below. Do you have any emotional or physical problems that could be related to a specific chakra?

The first chakra, which sits at the base of the spine, connects you to the Earth and deals with basic survival. An imbalance may result in anxiety disorders, fears, nightmares, problems in the colon, with the bladder, with elimination, the lower back, leg, or feet issues, prostate problems for men, and also eating disorders may indicate a root chakra imbalance.

The second chakra is located two inches below your navel. It is also known as the seat of creativity.  A disparity in this energy center within the body may include sexual and reproductive issues, urinary problems, kidney dysfunctions, hip, pelvic, and low back pain. Perceptions can be altered that include our commitment to relationships, our ability to express emotions, to have fun, to be able to play based on desires, creativity, pleasure, sexuality, addictions, and fears of betrayal.

The third chakra is located three inches above your navel. An imbalance here may include digestive problems,  liver dysfunction, chronic fatigue, high blood pressure, diabetes, stomach ulcers, pancreas and gallbladder issues, and colon diseases. Our emotional health is jeopardized with issues of personal power and self-esteem; we may become our own worst critic, intense fears of rejection emerge, criticism, and physical appearances.

The fourth chakra is located in the heart center. An imbalance here creates a noticeable heaviness. Often people describe the “weight of the world on their shoulders”.  Progression into disease can include asthma, heart disease, lung disease, issues with breasts, lymphatic systems, upper back and shoulder problems, arm, and wrist pain. An emotional imbalance here is easily recognized as an issue of the heart. Some individuals face intense anger, bitterness, fear of loneliness, grief, trauma, abandonment, jealousy, among many other intense heart space disruptions.

The fifth chakra is located at the throat. This is where we speak our mind verbally, and so often issues of self-expression through communication are noted with blockages here. An individual may have a fear that they do not have a choice, no will-power, or that circumstances are beyond their control. We correlate issues in this region with the thyroid, sore throats, laryngitis, TMJ, ear infections, ulcers, facial problems,  as well as neck and shoulder pain.

The sixth chakra is located in the middle of the eyebrows, in the center of the forehead. This is where your pineal gland resides, which is also known as the seat of the soul or the seat of consciousness. It is through this important structure that you can begin to “see” beyond the constructs of an illusionary 3D world, but it usually needs to be developed consciously after the routine “deprogramming” of regular members of society. Headaches, blurred vision, sinus issues, eyestrain, seizures, hearing loss, and hormone functions are all affected with a blockage in the 6th chakra. It can manifest as moodiness, volatility, a failure of self-reflection and to look at one’s own fears, as well as an inability to learn from others.

The seventh chakra is located at the crown of the head and connects you with the universe. It is the highest oscillating frequency in the basic seven chakra system. Sometimes an imbalance here can be linked to an imbalance that arises from limited thoughts on religion and spirituality, great prejudices, constant confusion, or a fear of alienation. This creates issues with self-knowledge and greater power: the source of all things that we are connected to. This may lead to depression, an inability to learn, sensitivity to light, sound, and the overall environment.

Keeping in mind that this is a very rudimentary outline, it’s easy to see we are dynamic creatures that feed off of energy. The only thing that is needed to redirect blocked energy is a desire to inform your physical and spiritual body to please do so and to follow with intention. Your path can be greatly accelerated should you choose to reach out for guidance in specific techniques to help your inner quest evolve. You first only need to realize and remember your divine innate power, and to gain an awareness that you always have the ability to change your life in a way that more aligns you with your soul purpose.  The further you drift from yourself and your soul’s purpose; it will cause a great dissonance and unrest in the core structures of your DNA blue print. As your body falls into disharmony and disease, this can be interpreted as a cry for help for your awareness to return home.

Seb and I will be posting more information on this topic soon. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions in the meantime.

Black Lives Matter and Police Brutality

In our course material, we strive to break down the barriers that keep us from living happy and fulfilling lives. Why is it that when you turn on the news all we see are extremists turning against each other? My inspiration for this post is to bring into awareness the current state of the American Policing and the Justice System. When did officers and the communities they serve turn against each other? When did the mentality of “Us vs. Them” solidify to a point that a solution seems hard to grasp? Let’s dive deeper into the issue. This is about more than the recent acts of violence ringing in the public’s ears without pause. The media is relentless with reliving the horror and typically only glorifies blood, gore, and unrest growing in communities across the nation. Minorities are in turmoil and the general populace distrust towards authority is growing exponentially every time another life is taken without reasonable justification. People are getting very uneasy about the people and governments who are supposed to protect and serve them. Some are even filled with rage. Is this warranted? Let’s look at some quick statistics.

In my current city of Salt Lake City, Utah you are more likely to be killed by a police officer then a gang member. Or drug dealers. Or to die from child abuse put together. An entire city in Michigan is irreparably damaged and poisoned for life because no one at city hall wanted to ask the question what would happen if corrosion safety measures were not in place to protect its citizens for something as basic to life as contaminated water. America has the largest prison population in the entire world, making up 25% of all prisoners worldwide.

we can end police violenceThis is here in the United States, the self-proclaimed “land of the free”. For minorities, the statistics are even more severe. For example, the USA is now imprisoning about 1 out of every 36 people in its black population (compared to 1 out of every 150 being jailed overall). American “justice” is especially focused on jailing young black males and other minorities.

The has led to the growth of a divisive movement – ‘Black Lives Matter’ – which has only served to further polarize America down racial lines, obsessing on skin color while ignoring the true causes of and solutions to police brutality and disproportionate crime and punishment. The color of your skin does not make it more likely that you will be a criminal. We are all equals and possess the same tendencies for both good and evil. Some studies suggest that a black man is more than 10xs more likely to commit a crime then his pale skinned brother. How do we explain this? Let us not base this information inherently on something you only possess on your shell because that is irrelevant.
Although having money or opportunity in your family growing up does not indicate your success by itself alone; let’s face the reality that money provides more opportunities to people who are able to access them. Cities whose populaces have better financial portfolios have better schools because they can be invested in. Many areas of the country have disproportionate racial profiles due to the fact some generations are not able to leave. It was only 50 years ago that black families were even allowed the same privileges as their neighbors. That is so many generations of potentially missed opportunities because you were not allowed to have the same rights in schools and corporations among other basic civil rights. These families have been struggling for generations to try and catch up to the standard of living the rest had from the inception of this country. That is why we find so many minorities in the inner city trying to make ends meet. And so many crimes are committed as “crimes of opportunity”– all of which, the main motivation is to obtain money or valuables. Let’s consider for a moment the struggles these “criminals” have been faced with from their earliest memories.

What would happen in the world if police and the justice system recognized a fellow struggling human being rather than just seeing a potential thug? Compassion and mindfulness is the only way to bridge this divide we’ve created on appearance, stereotypes, and the assumed motivations of someone trying to get their fair share in a livable environment by whatever means legal or illegal.
Anyone is free to choose to become a person of the law… It could be you or I, a neighbor, a stranger. After all, the pendulum swings both ways as we have seen in recent developments that officers lives are also being taken by assailants in a cowardly and faceless meaningless matter. We come to the realization there may be a culture of fear; sometimes intense fear that has been going on and developing for decades. What are these blockages and constructs that keep us from uplifting each other versus the divide and conquer agenda. How do we create and restore balance, symbiosis, and harmony in our communities once and for all?

It does not help that the media will only focus on a few awful stories as a basis for the state of society. I admit even I feel scared seeing the mayhem on TV. Other human beings are brought down to unthinkable levels of violence because they suffer inside without comprehension and cannot connect with their neighbors anymore. But we should be mindful of the energy we are manifesting not only within ourselves, but everyone we encounter in everyday life when we allow these false constructs to dictate how we relate to one another and act out by bringing more polarity to the situation. You have a choice to create exactly the way you want your life to be and how others interact with you. What if we made a conscious choice to choose love, and to see others as an extension of ourselves whose fate and well-being are intertwined with our own? Is love more powerful then fear?
